At CareVet of Southern Illinois, we're looking for an experienced veterinarian to step into a Medical Director role at an established, multi-doctor hospital that has served the Marion community for more than 34 years.

You'll lead and mentor three Associate DVMs while maintaining an active clinical caseload and having a meaningful voice in the medical direction of the hospital.

Eligible full-time veterinarians can receive a $220,000 signing bonus package, along with a base salary of $120,000-$150,000 plus production, comprehensive benefits, and strong operational support.

Compensation

  • Base salary: $120,000-$150,000, based on experience

Lead While Continuing to Practice

This is a hands-on clinical leadership opportunity - you'll have the ability to influence the hospital without stepping away from patient care.

As Medical Director, you'll serve as a trusted clinical resource for your fellow veterinarians while partnering with the Practice Manager and operational leadership on the continued success of the hospital.

You'll have the opportunity to:

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate is someone who values community and diversity and is passionate about people and pets! This is a great opportunity for an experienced veterinarian with a desire to lead our practice. The incoming Veterinarian will be responsible for overseeing all professional services, implementing veterinary and patient care policies and procedures, licenses, and related matters, and will ultimately serve as “Veterinarian in charge.”
