Full-Time Customer Service Representative

Do you have a talent for juggling five things at once, remembering everyone's dog's name (but maybe not their human's), and keeping your cool when the phone is ringing, a client is checking in, and a Labrador is enthusiastically trying to climb over the counter? We should talk.

We’re hiring a full-time Customer Service Representative to be the first friendly voice our clients hear.

About the Practice
Since 2012, we’ve cared for pets in Powell and the Shawnee Hills area, just around the corner from the Columbus Zoo. We’re AAHA accredited, placing us among about 15% of veterinary hospitals nationally, and we’re a certified Cat Friendly Practice with Fear Free Certified team members. From preventive and wellness care to surgery, hospitalization, and end-of-life care, we pair modern medicine with a close-knit team that genuinely likes working together.

What You’ll Help Make Possible

• Clients who feel welcomed and unrushed from the first phone call to checkout
• A well-organized schedule that keeps appointments running on time
• A calm, friendly lobby, even when the phones won’t stop ringing
• Pet parents who leave feeling informed and confident, especially on hard days
• A medical team free to focus on patients because the front of house is handled

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• 1-2 years of experience in a veterinary setting
• Availability for 10-hour day shifts, including rotating weekends
• Comfortable using computers, phone systems, and scheduling or practice-management software

Preferred:

• A warm, upbeat presence with clients and teammates
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Calm and kind when pet parents are stressed or worried
• A sense of humor, and a real enjoyment of working with people and pets

Schedule

• Full-time, Day shift
• 10-hour shifts
• Rotating weekends
• No holiday shifts required

Compensation
Compensation for this role ranges from $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, based on experience and role alignment.
