Cahaba Valley Animal Clinic is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and cross-trained Veterinary Assistant to join our growing small animal general practice team. This role is ideal for a veterinary professional who enjoys hands-on patient care while also providing exceptional client service and front desk support when needed. As a primarily clinical position, you will assist veterinarians and technicians with patient care, treatments, and hospital operations. In addition, you will be cross-trained to support our Client Service Representative (CSR) team , providing front desk coverage during lunches, days off, vacations, and other scheduling needs. The ideal candidate is comfortable balancing animal care responsibilities with client communication and administrative tasks.
