At Magnolia Veterinary Hospital, you don't have to choose between General Practice and Emergency Medicine.

Our doctors work in a true hybrid role, seeing approximately 55% ER and 45% GP cases, giving you the opportunity to build skills across wellness care, surgery, urgent care, and emergency medicine.

Whether you're an experienced veterinarian looking for variety or a newer graduate eager to apply what you've learned in veterinary school, you'll be supported by a team that loves to teach.

Exceptional support staff. Work with a team of 16 credentialed technicians and 24 veterinary assistants. GP doctors typically enjoy a 2.5:1 support staff ratio, allowing you to focus on medicine, not paperwork.

A schedule that creates real time off.

• 14-16 shifts per month
• Four consecutive overnight shifts as part of the rotation
• 5-7 consecutive days off following overnight rotations
• On-call doctor support available when needed

A feature our doctors especially appreciate: the ER stops accepting new cases after midnight, allowing the overnight team to focus on patient care, surgery, and existing patients rather than a constant stream of incoming cases.

Compensation That Fits Your Goals

Base Salary: $120,000-$165,000

Whether you prefer the predictability of a guaranteed salary or the earning potential of production, we'll work with you to build a compensation plan that aligns with your goals.

What We're Looking For

• DVM or equivalent degree
• Licensed (or eligible) to practice in South Carolina
• Interest in both GP and Emergency Medicine
• Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
